Grit and gristle and big rock melodies come alive in the music of Loud Angel!Feisty energy tangles with a big vodka-soaked-vibe of raucous hard rock classics. The music of Loud Angel welcomes listeners to a world where you play as hard as you can... before you finally crash right before the sun comes up, after a long night of partying! Johnny Metal started the act in 1990. Loud Angel began by performing cover songs, but before long, the creative juices that flowed through the band proved unsatisfied with merely offering renditions of other artist's music. There was no doubt about it... Loud Angel was to become an all-original band! Following the dissolution of the original Loud Angel line-up, Johnny was bound and determined to reassemble the band and continue forward. From that dream and desire, sprang the new and improved Loud Angel: Johnny Metal, lead guitar; Wendy Metal, lead vocals; Steve Scholl, bass guitar and Mike Chopper, drums. "Together, this band is determined to take it to the limit!" Loud Angel and company declare! The next step in Loud Angel's conquest will be more live shows, new recordings and leading up to an expansive tour. Already in the band's history, Loud Angel has emerged victorious in the Harley Davidson Battle of the Bands Competition with over 200 bands competing. Johnny Metal has been featured in Guitar Player magazine and recently, Loud Angel appeared in The Brevard Live Magazine. Loud Angel has also received high praise in newsprint and is has consistantly ranked between 4th and 7th on the IndieGlobal Charts. **Loud Angel's hit single "Bastard" (Sanity 2009) has been holding high chart positions since August 2009. Loud Angel has three self-released CDs and is currently in the studio working on production of their first DOUBLE LIVE CD slated for release late 2010. Living Dangerous (2000) Demons in the Dark (2003/2004) Sanity (2009) Living Dangerous and Demons in the Dark have produced a "slew of hits" including: "Bastard," "Let's Have a Rock n' Roll Party," "Victim of Love," and "Let's Go Crazy"! These songs are in high demand and are being played on over 4000 radio stations across the globe. The hit single, "Bastard" from the album "Sanity" is a case of undiluted, "old-school-rock muscle". Dirty guitar lines, tough-and-sexy vocals dipped in attitude, a sense of rambunctious grown-up fun and the pure desire to jam out and go crazy...those are blast-to-the-senses ingredients of Loud Angel's rock-n-roll world.
