Peter Blast..Vocalist, Guitarist, Entertainer Peter Blast's jagged to the edge guitar and haunting, read between the line lyrics, have given Peter a reputation as a very unique performer with style. Peter tours coast to coast leaving a trail of CD releases, Videos, International Radio Airplay, and World-Wide Interviews. Peter Blast material has been in several films including the acclaimed cult film "Henry, Portrait of a Serial Killer" and "Sugar Boxx". Back in 1978 Peters Punk Rock group 'Degeneration' were documented as being the very First Punk Rock Group to perform Live on the fabulous Las Vegas strip. Peter was also the founding member of the group 'junebug'. Peter has been called "The long lost cousin of the original 'New York Dolls' [FMQB) and New York City's Rock Journalist Anne Leighton wrote "Peters lyrical interpretive skills stand up along side the likes of Bruce Springsteen" and also included that "Peter Blast music walks a fine line of elegance and balls". Today..Peter Blast performs Tradition Rock, Blues, Punk Rock, and Psychedelic Dreamy Mindscapes but the truth of the matter is that Peter Blast Rocks and stands in a class of his own! The release of the Peter Blast Anthology "Pure Organic Junk" and his newest release "A Plush Horse?with a Monkey on a String" feature many versatile styles of this artists writing ability leaving the listener compelled to hear more. Peter Blast is now finishing the recording of his newest 'yet to be titled' CD, bringing even more to any party. Peter is ready to unleash himself and hit the tour road once again. Peter has recorded with such greats as: Ian 'Mac' McLagan of the Small Face, Faces, and The New Barbarians. Mac has also performed and recorded with the Rolling Stones. Now add to the list Steve Conte of the 'New' New York Dolls, Sami Yaffa from the original Hanoi Rocks and the 'New' New York Dolls, Rick Richards of Izzy Stradlin and the JuJu Hounds and also from The Georgia Satellites, Bob Lizik from The Brian Wilson Group, Chip Z'Nuff of Enuff Z'Nuff and Adlers Appetite, Kenny Harck of Off Broadway and Badfinger, and Willy Schwartz from Tom Waits and John Foggerty. Peter was and has been associated with New York City Legend Johnny Thunders, L.A. Guns, and Glen Matlock of the Sex Pistols to mention a few.
