Lynn "Win" Roberts began playing professionally with his parents band at age 14. Majored in Music at the University of Nebraska and then went on to Chicago where he played with several name bands and played backup for many big names such as Tony Bennett, Jack Jones, Dennis Day, and many of the stars of the Lawrence Welk show.Lynn even had the opportunity to back the famous Three Stooges on a 10 day engagement.From his experiences backing famous entertainers Lynn decided to start his own act consisting of playing 12 instruments, singing, doing standup comedy and impersonations. This show has been presented at corporate events, fairs, conventions, Military bases, public schools, Radio and TV shows,cruise ships and night clubs in the USA, Canada, and Europe. While doing his act he has also keep active with his bands. Lynn Roberts and the Swinging Saxes is a 10 to 14 piece band playing swing, latin and jazz. The Hot Peppers play a tribute style to the Tijuana Brass. The Dixie ACES of course play what their name depicts, Dixieland. The most sought after part of the Lynn Win Roberts talents are his impersonations of Bob Hope, Red Skelton, Jack Benny, Jimmy Durante and W.C. Fields.
